aBi Development Limited in consortium with Café Africa and the International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA), supported by the Mastercard Foundation, is implementing the Empowering Young Women Entrepreneurs in Agriculture Stimulated by Coffee (EYE-C) Programme. This is a five-year initiative focused on economic empowerment, leadership development, resilience, and access to dignified work for young women in Uganda’s coffee value chain and related enterprises.

The program operates across Central, Eastern, Western, and South-Western Uganda and is currently recruiting volunteers to support implementation at both secretariat and regional partner levels.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW – EYE-C PROGRAMME

The EYE-C Programme aims to:

Empower young women in agriculture and coffee value chains.
Strengthen economic resilience and entrepreneurship.
Promote leadership and inclusion in agribusiness.
Support access to dignified and fulfilling employment.
Strengthen coffee sector development in Uganda.

AVAILABLE VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

1. Disability Inclusion Facilitators (TDIFs)

12 regional positions
Locations: Central, Eastern, Western, and South-Western Uganda

2. Finance Volunteer

1 position
Location: Central Region

3. Office Administration Volunteers

4 regional positions
Locations: Central, Eastern, Western, and South-Western Uganda

4. Procurement Volunteer

1 position
Location: Central Region

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field of application.
Strong interest in agriculture, development programs, and community empowerment.
Passion for youth and women empowerment in agribusiness (especially coffee value chain).
Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
