Agricultural Finance Lead Job in Uganda | Digital Finance & Agribusiness Role (Kampala)

• Lead agricultural finance and digital financial services strategy and portfolio development
• Develop and submit high-quality Program Appraisal Reports (PARs) for Investment Committee approval
• Ensure alignment of programs with national digital transformation and agricultural strategies
• Lead development of innovative financial and digital agriculture ecosystems

• Manage delivery of agricultural finance and digital finance portfolios
• Supervise Intervention Managers, consultants, and implementing partners
• Ensure high-quality execution of program interventions and achievement of results
• Integrate learning from programs to improve innovation and impact

• Lead development and implementation of communications and influencing strategies
• Drive behavioural and mindset change among stakeholders including policymakers, partners, and end-users
• Strengthen collaboration with financial service providers, digital platforms, and agribusiness actors

• Promote development of interoperable and inclusive digital financial systems
• Support creation of affordable and scalable financial solutions for agricultural value chains
• Strengthen digital ecosystems supporting agricultural finance transformation

• Lead multidisciplinary teams and external consultants
• Provide strategic guidance and performance oversight
• Ensure effective coordination across program interventions

• Extensive experience in agricultural finance, digital finance, or agribusiness development
• Proven leadership experience managing multi-stakeholder programs
• Strong understanding of value chain financing and financial inclusion systems
• Experience in program design, appraisal reports (PARs), and donor-funded programs
• Strong strategic planning and policy engagement skills
• Experience working with digital financial services or fintech ecosystems is an advantage
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage complex, multi-partner programs
