Q-Sourcing Limited (Q-Sourcing Servtec) is inviting applications from skilled and experienced professionals for the position of Electrician. The opportunity is available in Kampala, Uganda, and is suitable for candidates with strong electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience.
Q-Sourcing Servtec is a leading manpower management solutions company operating across East Africa, including Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan. On behalf of its client in the hospitality sector, the company is seeking competent electricians to support facility maintenance operations.
 Job Summary
The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading electrical systems within the client’s facility. The successful candidate will also provide basic plumbing support, troubleshoot maintenance issues, and ensure all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
This role requires strong technical skills, attention to safety standards, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to respond quickly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.

 Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and electrical systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical installations and equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and provide effective solutions.
  • Perform basic plumbing repairs and maintenance when required.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance activities to reduce equipment failures.
  • Ensure electrical systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Test electrical systems and confirm proper operation after repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed repairs.
  • Identify potential safety risks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support facility improvement and upgrade projects.
  • Work independently while maintaining professional service standards.
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
 Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have:
  • A relevant qualification in Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
  • Practical knowledge and experience with basic plumbing systems.
  • A valid Uganda National Identification Card (National ID).
  • Experience working in hospitality, commercial buildings, or facility maintenance is an added advantage.
 Required Skills
