As part of strengthening its Warehouse and Logistics Department, Twyford International Uganda is seeking a dedicated Weight Inspector to ensure accurate weight measurements, maintain compliance with quality standards, and support efficient warehouse and logistics operations.

Job Summary

The Weight Inspector will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of weight measurements for raw materials, finished products, and outgoing shipments. The role involves inspecting and calibrating weighing equipment, monitoring compliance with company procedures and industry standards, investigating weight discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inspection records.
This position is ideal for candidates with experience in quality inspection, warehouse operations, logistics, manufacturing, inventory control, and weighing systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Weight Inspection and Verification
  • Inspect and verify the weight of raw materials, finished goods, and outgoing shipments.
  • Ensure all weight measurements are accurate and properly documented.
  • Confirm that products meet company weight specifications before dispatch.
  • Monitor weighing processes to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Report any weight-related irregularities to management.
2. Weighing Equipment Management
  • Inspect and calibrate weighing equipment regularly.
