DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION & PARTNERSHIPS ROLE

Working Relationships – External
 
The role will maintain strong working relationships with:
 
  • Britam Customers
  • Regulators
  • Business Partners
  • Service Providers

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications Required

Education
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification in Insurance such as COP, ACII, or equivalent is an added advantage.
  • A postgraduate qualification such as an MBA or equivalent is preferred.

Experience
 
  • Minimum of 6–8 years’ experience in business development, digital distribution, or partnerships within the financial services sector.
  • Proven experience developing and managing digital or partnership-driven distribution models.
  • Experience in microinsurance or inclusive financial products will be an advantage.

Essential Competencies
 
  • Strategic thinking and strong business acumen.
  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent understanding of digital ecosystems, fintechs, and insurance distribution models.
  • Strong data-driven decision-making and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent project management and execution skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Agility, innovation, and adaptability in a rapidly changing market.

External Stakeholder Management

The successful candidate will be expected to build and maintain productive relationships with customers, regulators, business partners, and service providers while supporting the growth and effectiveness of Britam's digital and partnership distribution channels.
