OPERATOR

• Attend safety briefings covering incidents, near-misses, and operational risks.
• Review MES/digital brew sheets for previous shift data.
• Receive shift handovers covering process updates and equipment status.
• Deep clean, inspect, and lubricate equipment.
• Apply 5S principles to improve workplace organization and efficiency.
• Identify and report equipment defects and unsafe conditions.
• Conduct ATO tasks.

• Monitor and deliver brewing area parameters across the Brewhouse, Cellars, and Filtration areas.
• Perform Apparent Extract (AE) and Original Extract (OE) analysis.
• Conduct beer, tank, colour, and volume analysis according to schedules.
• Perform frontline problem-solving.
• Monitor fermentation vessel parameters, including temperature, deviations, and yeast activity.

• Perform Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) activities for tanks, vessels, and pipelines.
• Remove trub and conduct decanter bypass analysis.
• Run CIP during double brewhouse downtime.
• Start and monitor steam systems.

• Monitor equipment performance and report process deviations.
• Ensure accurate and effective shift handovers.
• Coordinate raw materials and process orders.

• Perform basic maintenance activities, including valve changes and equipment inspections.
• Conduct routine equipment walkabouts to identify potential issues at an early stage.

• Respond promptly to equipment alarms and process deviations.
• Escalate unresolved filtration and brewhouse issues to the relevant technical teams.

• Capture laboratory, filtration, and tank data into MES.
• Track and verify beer losses, plant availability, and process deviations.

• Apply problem-solving tools such as PFR, 5 WHY, and PTCA to identify and address root causes.
• Coordinate with artisans, specialists, and suppliers to resolve technical and process issues.

• Receive daily coaching and guidance from Brewing Area Managers.
• Support colleagues with troubleshooting and process improvement activities.

• Participate in safety pillar reviews.
• Lead or support workplace improvement initiatives, including 5S and hazard elimination.

• Strong ability to apply technical and operational competencies to achieve optimum plant and process performance.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, listening, and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrates initiative, energy, and a proactive approach to work.
• Strong achievement drive with a focus on continuous improvement and exceeding performance standards.

• National Diploma or higher in Food Science, Industrial Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
• PC literacy, including Microsoft Office and SAP/MES systems.
