JOB OVERVIEW
Kenen Laundry Services is seeking a reliable and experienced Washerman to join our laundry operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for washing, handling, and preparing garments using professional laundry techniques to ensure cleanliness, fabric safety, and high-quality customer service.
This role requires hands-on experience in laundry washing processes, stain treatment, and fabric
 care management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Wash and clean customer garments using appropriate manual and machine washing techniques.
  • Sort laundry items according to fabric type, color, and washing requirements.
  • Apply correct detergents, stain removers, and washing methods for different materials.
  • Inspect garments before and after washing to ensure quality cleaning standards.
  • Handle delicate fabrics with care to avoid damage or shrinkage.
  • Operate laundry machines safely and follow all operational procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the laundry work area.
  • Assist in drying, folding, and preparing garments for ironing or delivery.
  • Report damaged, stained, or special-care items to supervisors.
  • Ensure timely completion of washing tasks to meet customer deadlines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Age: 19 – 30 years
  • Minimum experience: 1 year in laundry or washing operations
  • Education: UACE Certificate (minimum)
  • Strong knowledge of laundry washing techniques and fabric care
  • Ability to handle both manual and machine washing processes
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and cleanliness standards
  • Responsible, disciplined, and reliable

  • Nsawo – Namugongo
