Job Description – Human Resource Business Partner | AAR Insurance | Uganda
AAR Insurance is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to support organizational growth by aligning human resource strategies with business objectives. The role involves partnering with management to drive talent management, employee engagement, workforce planning, performance management, and organizational development initiatives.
The successful candidate will provide strategic HR leadership and ensure effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals
  • Provide strategic advice on workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning
  • Lead employee relations, engagement, and retention initiatives
  • Support performance management processes and staff development programs
  • Advise management on labor laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements
  • Drive organizational development and change management initiatives
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition activities
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee well-being
  • Ensure implementation of HR best practices and compliance with company policies
Qualifications & Experience
  • Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management is an added advantage
  • Additional HR certifications and professional qualifications are mandatory
  • Minimum of 8 years of professional HR experience
  • At least 3 years of experience at management level
  • Strong knowledge of HR strategy, talent management, and labor legislation
