JOINT MEDICAL STORES (JMS) – ICTO APPLICATIONS & DIGITAL SOLUTIONS
Job Summary / Purpose
Joint Medical Stores (JMS) is seeking a highly skilled ICT professional to support the development, customization, integration, and management of enterprise applications. The role is responsible for overseeing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central development, system integrations, database management, automation of business processes, and digital transformation initiatives across the organization.
The position also drives innovation in reporting, analytics, and emerging technologies (including AI/ML) to improve operational efficiency and digital service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Applications Development & Administration
  • Design, develop, and deploy Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions (AL customizations)
  • Build and maintain web and desktop applications supporting business operations
  • Write clean, maintainable code (AL, C#, JavaScript, Visual Basic)
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards
  • Manage development, UAT, staging, and production environments
  • Implement version control using Git and CI/CD practices
2. Systems Integration & API Development
  • Design and develop RESTful and SOAP APIs
  • Build middleware for system-to-system integration
  • Implement ERP and third-party system integrations
  • Perform data mapping, validation, and transformation logic
3. Database Administration
  • Manage SQL Server and/or Oracle databases
  • Optimize queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
  • Support data migration, reconciliation, and integrity checks
  • Implement database security and access controls
4. Security, Compliance & Risk Management
  • Implement secure coding practices
  • Conduct application-level security reviews
  • Support ICT audits and compliance reporting
  • Ensure data protection and access control compliance
5. Documentation & Knowledge Management
  • Maintain technical documentation (APIs, system architecture, deployment guides)
  • Document development standards and system configurations
  • Support user training and system adoption
6. High Availability & Disaster Recovery
  • Design DR and backup strategies for applications and databases
  • Define and maintain RTO/RPO objectives
  • Conduct DR testing and failover simulations
  • Maintain recovery documentation and runbooks
7. Reporting & Digital Innovation
  • Build dashboards using Power BI (DAX, Power Query)
  • Support automation using Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Explore AI/ML-based improvements for business processes
  • Develop self-service ICT knowledge systems
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Second Upper or equivalent)
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in software development and application administration
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (AL customization)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server or Oracle database administration
  • Experience in enterprise system integration and API development
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (AL Development)
  • SQL Server / Oracle Database Management
  • REST & SOAP API Development
  • Power BI (DAX, Power Query)
  • Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
  • Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
  • C#, JavaScript, Visual Basic
  • Cloud & hybrid infrastructure concepts (Azure preferred)
