Job Overview
Mamoru is seeking an Operations and Settlements Manager to oversee trading desk operations, manage FX/Bonds/Digital Asset settlements, ensure compliance, and control operational risk within a fast-paced financial trading environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily trading desk operations (middle/back office)
  • Monitor market movements and provide analysis
  • Ensure compliance with FX, bonds, and digital asset regulations
  • Develop operational policies and procedures
  • Handle trade settlement processes (reconciliation, verification, issue resolution)
  • Liaise with banks and payment service providers for cross-border settlements
  • Manage risk exposure, trading limits, and incident reporting
  • Maintain accurate transaction records and audit documentation
  • Train and supervise operations staff
  • Stay updated on market and regulatory developments
Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in:
    • Finance
    • Accounting
    • Economics
    • Or related field
Experience
  • At least 5 years in:
    • FX trading
    • Bond trading
    • Payments operations
    • Preferably in a leadership/manager role
Technical Skills
  • Trading platforms and financial systems
  • Risk management and compliance knowledge
  • Strong understanding of FX and securities markets
Key Competencies
  • Strong analytical and decision-making ability
  • High integrity and professionalism
  • Risk and operations management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
