DWDM Professional Opportunity – Huawei Uganda (Kampala)

Huawei Uganda is seeking experienced DWDM professionals to join its technical team in Kampala. This is an opportunity to work with one of the world’s leading ICT companies and advance your career in optical transport networking.

Position Overview

The role is focused on DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) and Optical Transport Networks (Back Office operations), supporting configuration, troubleshooting, and network change implementation activities.

Key Requirements

Applicants should have:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in DWDM / Optical Transport Networks (BO role)
  • Strong experience with Huawei OSN 9800 / OSN 1800 platforms
  • Solid background in:
    • Network configuration
    • Troubleshooting
    • Change implementation (Back Office operations)
