Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of resilience engineering interventions.
• Develop engineering designs that improve soil health, biodiversity, and water conservation.
• Prepare engineering drawings, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and technical documentation.
• Use AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, GIS, and other engineering software to prepare project designs.
• Conduct assessments to identify community soil and water management needs.
• Design soil conservation and water harvesting structures such as:
  • Micro-dams
  • Bioswales
  • Water harvesting systems
• Supervise construction of engineering structures and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and contractors.
• Promote climate-smart agriculture and restorative agricultural practices.
• Develop training materials for communities, partners, and project staff.
• Conduct routine field monitoring visits to farms, households, and project sites.
• Provide technical support during project implementation.
• Prepare timely technical reports and submit them to the supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications
