Job Summary
Agri Exim is seeking two Quality Supervisors to join its team in Kampala. The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for implementing and supervising quality control and food safety systems across production and processing activities.
The role involves monitoring raw materials and finished products, conducting sampling and analysis, maintaining hygiene standards, managing Critical Control Points (CCPs), supervising packaging and loading activities, supporting pest-control programs, ensuring equipment calibration, and training workers on quality and food safety requirements.
The ideal candidate should have experience in quality control within agro-processing or food processing, strong knowledge of food safety standards, and the ability to supervise teams effectively in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Control and Inspection
The Quality Supervisor will ensure that products meet established quality specifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Inspect and monitor incoming raw materials.
- Conduct sampling of raw materials and in-process products.
- Support laboratory or quality analysis activities.
- Monitor finished products against established specifications.
