PROCESS OPERATOR

• Operate production machines and industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Optimize production performance, manufacturing processes, and plant efficiency.
• Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and optimize plant and associated equipment.
• Monitor plant performance and take appropriate corrective action when required.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and risk-free working environment.
• Work effectively as part of a production and engineering team.
• Use VPO tools to analyze production results and implement appropriate improvements.
• Participate actively in shift meetings, ask questions, share information, and contribute improvement suggestions.
• Use OWS effectively to record equipment issues, process problems, and opportunities for improvement.
• Understand the team's objectives and contribute toward achieving production and operational targets.
• Complete effective shift handovers and communicate important information concerning plant performance, product quality, maintenance issues, and outstanding work.
• Follow established production, quality, safety, maintenance, and operational procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment.

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Previous experience in packaging, brewing, utilities, FMCG, manufacturing, or industrial production will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of SKAP is an added advantage.
• Ability to manage a process area according to VPO principles and standards.
• Practical understanding of industrial machinery, production processes, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting is an advantage.
