Job Overview

Ray Medical Center is seeking an experienced Male Nurse to join its healthcare team in Matugga.
The successful candidate will support ward and outpatient nursing services by delivering quality patient care, administering medications, monitoring patient health, recording clinical observations, and assisting attending medical officers during daily clinical operations.

Position Overview

The Male Nurse will be responsible for supporting ward and outpatient nursing activities, monitoring patient recovery, administering treatments, maintaining accurate patient records, and ensuring high standards of clinical care.
The role also involves maintaining hygiene standards within clinical areas, supporting inventory management of medical consumables, and collaborating with doctors and other healthcare professionals to provide quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care
  • Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely according to medical instructions.
  • Perform wound dressing and provide appropriate wound care management.
  • Deliver routine nursing care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Monitor patients throughout treatment and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Ensure patient comfort while maintaining dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
  • Educate patients on medication use, treatment plans, and healthy living practices where appropriate.
Vital Signs and Patient Monitoring
  • Monitor patient recovery and overall health status.
  • Measure and accurately record patient vital signs including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respiration, and oxygen saturation.
  • Observe patients for changes in their clinical condition and report concerns promptly.
  • Assist medical officers during patient consultations, examinations, and treatment procedures.
  • Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
Ward and Outpatient Support
  • Support daily ward operations and outpatient clinical services.
  • Prepare patients for medical examinations and procedures.
  • Assist healthcare teams in delivering coordinated patient care.
  • Ensure smooth patient flow within the healthcare facility.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
