Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and monitor maintenance plans and schedules.
• Schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Track maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams to minimize disruptions.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed according to company standards and safety requirements.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability.
• Recommend improvements to maintenance processes.
• Monitor equipment performance and maintenance effectiveness.
• Ensure machinery remains safe, reliable, and available for production.

• Support maintenance activities for food production machinery and facilities.
• Ensure proper functioning of installations and equipment.
• Coordinate equipment commissioning after repairs or modifications.
• Ensure compliance with legal and company requirements related to:
  • Safety
  • Reliability
  • Equipment availability

• Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance teams.
• Assist in resolving maintenance-related challenges.
• Support troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and facility systems.
• Maintain updated technical records and documentation.

• Monitor availability of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
• Provide recommendations on optimal spare parts stock levels.
• Manage tools, safety equipment, and protective equipment.
• Coordinate ordering of required maintenance resources.
• Track materials used during maintenance activities.

• Manage maintenance administrative processes including:
  • Work orders
  • Time records
  • Material usage reports
  • Project information
• Prepare maintenance progress reports using plant maintenance software.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Support maintenance performance monitoring.

• Keep updated with developments in engineering and maintenance practices.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical recommendations to improve plant efficiency.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or
• A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance management or engineering maintenance roles.
• At least 3–4 years of hands-on experience in a similar role within the Food Industry.
• Experience in beverage manufacturing plants is a strong advantage.
