Job Summary
Rustic Organics is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Logistics Manager to oversee its logistics, transportation, warehousing, inventory, and international shipment operations.
The successful candidate will manage the movement of raw materials from field collection teams through warehousing and transportation to final delivery to customers in Europe. The role requires strong knowledge of supply chain operations, international shipping, customs procedures, inventory management, and logistics cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all logistics and transportation activities from raw material collection to final customer delivery.
  • Manage inbound, outbound, local, and international shipments.
  • Coordinate carriers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs agents, and other logistics service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with export and import regulations and international trade requirements.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory accuracy, stock control, capacity planning, safety, and hygiene.
  • Optimize transportation routes and consolidate shipments to improve efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
  • Ensure accurate preparation and management of container bookings, shipping documents, customs clearance documentation, and order fulfilment records.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics service providers.
  • Negotiate favourable terms and service agreements with logistics partners.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the logistics team to achieve high operational performance.
  • Prepare logistics reports and analyze key performance indicators.
  • Identify operational challenges and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure high standards of quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Coordinate effectively with procurement, warehouse, production, field, finance, and customer service teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven professional experience in logistics, supply chain management, transportation, or warehousing.
  • Experience in import and export operations is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of customs procedures, shipping documentation, and international trade regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics or supply chain management systems.
