Job Summary

TotalEnergies Uganda is seeking an experienced Integrated Operations Planner to support planning, coordination, and execution of integrated operations activities within the Tilenga project.
The successful candidate will be responsible for consolidating work programs, managing integrated schedules, coordinating planning activities across multiple teams, monitoring execution progress, identifying constraints, and supporting continuous improvement of operational efficiency.
This role requires strong experience in project planning, Primavera scheduling tools, oil and gas operations, and the ability to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE)
The Integrated Operations Planner will:
  • Demonstrate commitment to Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) standards.
  • Follow company safety policies, procedures, and ethical requirements.
  • Promote safe working practices and compliance with company Golden Rules.
  • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in required HSE training programs.
  • Support a strong safety culture across operational teams.

Technical Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:
  • Consolidate operational work programs based on approved scopes from different entities.
  • Review work schedules and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Identify potential conflicts, constraints, and operational challenges.
  • Gather and validate schedules related to FOPS activities and interfaces.
  • Ensure accurate information is entered into Primavera planning tools.
  • Maintain regular updates of integrated operational plans.
  • Organize and facilitate 5WLA and 4MLA planning meetings.
  • Ensure Personnel On Board (POB) constraints are considered during planning.
  • Support preparation of 24-month and Long-Term Planning (LTP) review meetings.
  • Monitor work program execution progress.
  • Report deviations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement of operational planning processes.

Digital Responsibilities

The role will also involve:
  • Promoting the use of Job ID Cards for task preparation.
  • Collecting feedback from operational teams and job leaders.
  • Sharing improvement recommendations with Smart Room Leaders and FOPS Management.
  • Supporting digital planning and reporting improvements.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial experience.
  • Previous experience working as a Planner is mandatory.
  • Strong experience using Primavera Planning Tool.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • General understanding of:
    • Onshore upstream oil and gas operations.
    • Production operations.
    • Industrial project planning.
    • Logistics and operational coordination.
