Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Impact Water purification systems are functioning properly.
• Perform routine maintenance and checks on water purification equipment.
• Support replacement and distribution of:
  • Water filters
  • UV lamps
  • Aquatabs
  • Cartridges
• Collect and return unused materials.
• Conduct water quality tests and report any issues.
• Identify faults and support schools in resolving system challenges.

• Educate students about the importance of drinking clean and safe water.
• Conduct School Engagement and Product Usage (SEPU) visits.
• Explain how Impact Water purification systems work.
• Promote awareness about hygiene and safe water practices.
• Build positive relationships with:
  • School administrators
  • Teachers
  • Students
  • Community stakeholders

• Collect accurate field data using a mobile phone.
• Submit timely reports on school visits and system performance.
• Record maintenance activities and challenges.
• Provide information that supports organisational decision-making.
• Ensure all collected data is accurate and complete.

• Represent Impact Water professionally in assigned districts.
• Maintain good relationships with schools and local stakeholders.
• Support additional field activities assigned by the Field Coordinator.
• Assist with document delivery, research activities, and community engagement initiatives.

Supervision and Reporting Structure

Job Location and Travel Requirements

• The position is based within the Field Agent’s assigned district.
• The role requires extensive daily travel from Monday to Friday.
• Field Agents are expected to visit three or more schools each day.
• Many schools may be located in remote areas.
• Candidates must be comfortable working independently in the field.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Diploma or Degree in any field (preferably Education, Social Work, Community Development, or related fields).
• Fluency in English and the local language spoken in the assigned district.
• Strong understanding of the local community and geographical area.
• Ability to travel throughout the entire work period.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• High integrity and commitment to community service.
• Passion for improving people's lives.
• Ability to use a smartphone for data collection.
• Must own a reliable Android phone.
