Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and supervision to health facilities and local authorities on HIV and TB service delivery.
• Strengthen client retention systems and case management processes across supported health facilities.
• Support implementation of eMTCT, EID, TB, pediatric, and adolescent HIV care services.
• Monitor performance of HIV/TB services against set targets and recommend corrective actions where needed.
• Support implementation of differentiated service delivery models in HIV care and treatment.
• Review and ensure proper documentation of all HIV prevention and treatment services.
• Develop quarterly district work plans and operational plans for HIV/TB service delivery.
• Mentor and build capacity of district health teams, facility staff, and community health workers.
• Support provision of high-quality HTS, PrEP/PEP, and related HIV prevention services.
• Ensure all pregnant women are tested for HIV and linked to care where necessary.
• Strengthen early infant diagnosis (EID) systems and improve coverage tracking.
• Promote use of viral load (VL) point-of-care services where available.
• Support data-driven decision-making using client-level audit tools and dashboards.
• Participate in monthly performance reviews and program outcome analysis.
• Support quality improvement initiatives within health facilities.
• Contribute to operational research, documentation, and dissemination of findings.
• Build a network of district mentors to support continuous capacity building.
• Perform any other duties assigned in line with program objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MBChB) or equivalent medical qualification.

• Additional training in HIV/AIDS and TB clinical management is required.
• Postgraduate training is an added advantage.
• 
  

Experience

• At least three (3) years of experience in HIV/AIDS and TB clinical service delivery support programs.
• Experience working with district health systems or implementing partner organizations.
• Experience in HIV care, TB management, and integrated health service delivery.
• Experience in data-driven program monitoring and reporting is an added advantage.
•
