Second Tier Delivery Driver Job at Nile Breweries Uganda

• Legally operate company delivery trucks and trailers in compliance with road safety regulations.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections using the official checklist, including oil, water, tires, and general mechanical condition.
• Identify and report any vehicle damages, faults, or maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure full compliance with safety policies and company transport guidelines.

• Deliver customer orders according to the planned delivery schedule and routing plan.
• Ensure accurate loading and unloading of goods as per delivery documentation.
• Verify inventory before departure and reconcile stock upon delivery at point of contact (POC).
• Maintain accuracy in order fulfillment and delivery documentation.

• Support proper stock handling and reconciliation during transportation and delivery.
• Ensure all deliveries match order specifications and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of delivered and returned goods.

• Maintain a safe, healthy, and risk-free working environment at all times.
• Adhere strictly to DPO Safety Pillar guidelines and company safety policies.
• Report all incidents, hazards, or unsafe conditions immediately.

• Minimum Grade 12 Certificate.
• 2–3 years’ experience in a stock control or logistics environment.
• Experience in FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) stock handling is required.
• Strong knowledge and experience using SAP R3 system.
• Advanced SAP system knowledge is an added advantage.
• Valid, unendorsed Heavy Duty Vehicle Driving License.
