Global Markets Analyst Job Description (Finance, Trading & Risk Support Role)

• Develop understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and client needs
• Monitor and analyse market trends, economic indicators, and financial developments
• Identify opportunities to support trading, pricing, and client solutions
• Provide market insights to trading and sales teams

• Assist in pricing and valuation of financial instruments under supervision
• Support structuring activities aligned with market movements and client requirements
• Ensure accuracy in valuation and pricing outputs

• Assist in trade execution and lifecycle management
• Support trade capture, validation, reconciliation, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures

• Develop understanding of trading risks and risk management frameworks
• Support monitoring and reporting of market and client-related risks
• Contribute to decision-making through data and analysis

• First Degree in:

  • Actuarial Science
  • Engineering
  • Technology
  • Statistics
  • or related quantitative field
• Minimum CGPA of 4.0 or equivalent
• Strong academic performance with analytical ability
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Exposure to Python, SQL, or other data tools is an advantage
• Strong recommendation from academic faculty is an added advantage
