Position Overview

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Execute procurement activities to ensure timely availability of goods and raw materials.
• Process purchase requirements according to production and operational needs.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm material availability and delivery timelines.
• Ensure purchased materials meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Follow up on pending orders to prevent manufacturing interruptions.
• Support continuous improvement of procurement processes.

2. Stakeholder Coordination

• Work closely with:
  • Plant Managers
  • Warehouse Teams
  • Production Supervisors
  • Procurement Teams
  • Suppliers
  • Logistics Providers
• Understand production requirements and inventory needs.
• Coordinate supply schedules with operational demands.
• Communicate procurement updates and challenges to relevant departments.
• Support effective collaboration between procurement and production teams.

3. Delivery Expediting and Logistics Management

• Track supplier orders from purchase confirmation to delivery.
• Monitor shipment and transportation progress.
• Resolve delivery delays and supply chain bottlenecks.
• Confirm delivery schedules with suppliers and transport partners.
• Ensure materials arrive according to production timelines.
• Escalate supply challenges that may affect operations.

4. Inventory Alignment and Stock Management

• Monitor inventory levels and material availability.
• Support optimization of reorder points.
• Analyze inventory turnover to reduce:
  • Stock shortages
  • Excess inventory holding
  • Production delays
• Coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain accurate stock information.
• Support inventory planning activities.

5. Procurement Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate procurement records.
• Monitor purchase orders and supplier commitments.
• Prepare procurement status reports.
• Ensure proper documentation of purchasing activities.
• Maintain supplier performance information.
• Support audits and compliance requirements.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in:

  • Logistics and Transport Management
  • Business Administration
  • Purchasing and Supplies Management
  • Related fields

Professional Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in:
  • Procurement
  • Logistics
