Sokoni Africa – Security Supervisor Job Opportunity

Position: Security Supervisor
Industry: Hospitality / Security Management
Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate security guards across all shifts.
  • Conduct regular patrols of hotel premises to ensure safety and security.
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and other security systems.
  • Investigate, document, and report security incidents, accidents, and complaints.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel security policies and procedures.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, and fire alarms.
  • Coordinate emergency response and evacuation procedures when necessary.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly security reports.
  • Monitor access control and prevent unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate security staff performance.
  • Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
  • Promote a safe and welcoming environment for guests and employees.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Criminology, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ security experience (hospitality, corporate, or institutional environment preferred).
  • Previous supervisory experience is an added advantage.
  • Training in First Aid, Fire Safety, or Security Operations is desirable.
