Machine Operator (Labeller)

• Start up and shut down labeling machines following standard operating procedures.
• Operate labeling equipment to achieve daily production targets.
• Perform machine changeovers for different product lines as required.
• Operate twin-pack machines where applicable.

• Assist in smooth operation of the beverage production line.
• Load and unload production materials including boxes, shrink film, and glue.
• Monitor machine performance to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Support efficient production while minimizing downtime.

• Keep labeling machines clean and well maintained.
• Perform routine lubrication of machines and maintain maintenance records.
• Participate in weekly preventive maintenance with the maintenance team.
• Remove waste materials such as glue, oil, and film from equipment.

• Ensure products meet established labeling and packaging quality standards.
• Read and interpret machine gauges and operating indicators.
• Mark product components for identification where necessary.
• Monitor machine settings to maintain production accuracy and consistency.

• Record operational data including film weight, glue consumption, machine counters, and production output.
• Maintain accurate production records and machine logs.
• Report machine faults and operational issues promptly to supervisors.

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating production or packaging machinery in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Experience in beverage manufacturing or FMCG production is an added advantage.
• 
  

• Knowledge of labeling and packaging machine operations.
• Familiarity with Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD) production processes and/or water treatment plant operations.
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Ability to read gauges and monitor machine performance.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently while following standard operating procedures.
