Job Summary
dfcu Bank is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven professional to lead the development and execution of marketing and business growth strategies for the Women in Business (WiB) sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for increasing market share, driving customer acquisition and retention, enhancing digital platform adoption, improving portfolio quality, and ensuring profitability of the WiB segment.
This role requires a strong banking leader with deep experience in sales, credit risk management, marketing strategy, and customer relationship development within financial services.

Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Market Expansion
The WiB Sector Lead will accelerate customer acquisition and retention within the Women in Business segment while driving deposit mobilization and revenue growth. The role involves developing and implementing strategies to expand dfcu Bank’s market penetration and strengthen its competitive position.
Marketing Strategy & Sales Development
The role involves designing and executing comprehensive marketing plans and sales strategies aimed at growing the WiB portfolio. The candidate will ensure alignment between customer needs, product offerings, and value propositions to enhance uptake and customer satisfaction.
Digital Transformation & Innovation
The incumbent will drive increased utilization of digital banking platforms among WiB customers. The role also involves contributing to digital transformation initiatives that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage.
Portfolio Quality & Risk Management
The WiB Sector Lead will monitor loan portfolio performance by reviewing credit reports, managing watch accounts, and ensuring effective debt recovery strategies.
The role includes implementing risk management controls and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements across the WiB portfolio.
Customer Experience & Feedback Management
The candidate will ensure that customers consistently experience the intended value propositions by implementing feedback systems that capture both positive and corrective insights for continuous improvement.
Training & Team Development
The role involves training and equipping staff, including branch representatives, to deliver high-quality customer experiences. The candidate will also mentor team members and contribute to succession planning within the sector.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related discipline
  • MBA or related Master’s degree is an added advantage
  • Professional banking qualification is an added advantage

Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Banking
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong experience in Sales, Service, and Marketing Strategy development
  • Proven track record in driving business growth and market expansion
  • Experience in credit structuring, deal negotiation, and portfolio management
  • Strong understanding of Women in Business (WiB) or SME banking segments

Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership, strategic thinking, and commercial acumen within the banking sector.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are essential. The role requires strong analytical ability, innovation mindset, and deep understanding of financial products, risk management, and customer segmentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
