FINANCE OFFICER

• Prepare management accounts, budgets, financial forecasts, cash-flow reports, and financial dashboards.
• Process and verify invoices, payments, receipts, expense claims, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor loan disbursements, repayments, arrears, collections, and portfolio risk.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables and support credit-control and debt-recovery activities.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
• Maintain accurate fixed-asset records and support asset accounting and reporting.
• Support tax compliance, audits, financial reporting, and internal-control activities.
• Work closely with operations and commercial teams to ensure accurate billing, transaction recording, and profitability analysis.
• Identify financial discrepancies and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Provide accurate financial information to management to support business performance and strategic decisions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• ACCA or CPA qualification is required; advanced-level finalists may be considered.
• Additional training in financial modelling, data analytics, or credit management is an added advantage.

• At least 3 years’ relevant experience in accounting, audit, credit, lending, leasing, fintech, or a related commercial environment.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, cash-flow management, account reconciliations, and financial modelling.
• Experience in loan-book monitoring, receivables management, collections, or credit control is an advantage.

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting and financial management software.
• Knowledge of Power Query, financial dashboards, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools is desirable.
• Strong analytical, numerical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
