As part of its operations team, Mota-Engil is seeking a skilled professional to support fuel planning, fleet coordination, driver management, and operational improvement initiatives.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for organising and managing fuel planning activities, supporting fleet operations, coordinating drivers and equipment operators, monitoring fleet performance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
The role requires strong logistics knowledge, planning abilities, teamwork skills, and experience in fleet or operational management. The ideal candidate should be able to analyse operational requirements, optimise resources, and support efficient transportation activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate fuel requirements for operational activities.
  • Monitor fuel consumption and ensure efficient utilisation of resources.
  • Organise daily activities and schedules for drivers and equipment operators.
  • Coordinate fleet operations to support project requirements.
  • Monitor fleet conditions and identify maintenance or operational issues.
  • Analyse vehicle and equipment performance reports.
  • Support implementation of fleet improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate operational records and reports.
  • Collaborate with logistics, maintenance, and project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
  • Support effective utilisation of vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
  • Assist in resolving fleet-related operational challenges.
  • Participate in continuous improvement programmes.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should possess:
  • Mandatory education qualification or equivalent technical course.
  • Proven experience in fleet operations, logistics, transportation, or related functions.
  • Good understanding of logistics processes and operational planning.
  • Knowledge of fuel management and fleet coordination.
  • Good command of English language.
