Opportunity Bank is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Information Technology Officer (CTIO) to lead the bank’s technology function, drive digital transformation, strengthen cybersecurity, and ensure reliable IT operations aligned with business goals.

Job Summary

The Chief Information Technology Officer (CTIO) will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of all Information Technology functions within Opportunity Bank.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the bank’s IT strategy, managing technology infrastructure, strengthening cybersecurity systems, overseeing digital banking platforms, managing IT projects, and leading technology teams to support business growth.
The role requires a visionary technology leader with strong banking industry knowledge, business understanding, cybersecurity expertise, and the ability to align technology solutions with organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Strategy and Digital Transformation
  • Develop and implement the bank’s IT strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Recommend cost-effective technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Identify emerging technology trends and opportunities for innovation.
  • Develop IT budgets, technology roadmaps, and investment plans.
  • Ensure IT governance standards and best practices are implemented.
2. IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Management
  • Oversee the organisation’s technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, systems, and applications.
  • Ensure availability, reliability, and optimal performance of IT systems.
  • Implement cybersecurity strategies to protect business data and information assets.
  • Manage security controls including access management, firewalls, monitoring systems, and backups.

  • Improve customer experience through technology-driven solutions.
6. IT Leadership and Team Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop IT teams.

Qualifications and Requirements
