Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical systems in:
  • Petrol engine vehicles.
  • Diesel vehicles.
  • Heavy-duty trucks.
  • Construction machinery.
  • Engineering equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance activities on electrical components.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment operate efficiently and safely.

• Diagnose and repair faults affecting:
  • Electrical wiring systems.
  • Batteries.
  • Alternators.
  • Starter motors.
  • Ignition systems.
  • Fuses.
  • Lamps and lighting systems.
• Perform electrical inspections and functional checks.
• Identify electrical failures and implement effective solutions.

• Install, maintain, and repair automotive electrical components including:
  • Sensors.
  • Gauges.
  • Lighting systems.
  • Electronic control modules.
  • Vehicle monitoring systems.
• Diagnose electronic vehicle faults using appropriate diagnostic tools.
• Troubleshoot computerized vehicle control systems.

• Interpret and use:

• Use diagnostic scanners and testing equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of:

Qualifications and Requirements

• Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering.

• Technical/Vocational Certificate in:

  • A related technical field.

Professional Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ proven experience as an Auto Electrician.
• Experience working with:
