Position Overview

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and professionally.
• Provide friendly assistance throughout the customer experience.
• Present menus and explain available meal options.
• Assist customers with food selections and inquiries.
• Ensure guests receive excellent service.
• Handle customer concerns politely and professionally.

2. Order Taking and Processing

• Accurately record customer meal and takeaway orders.
• Confirm orders before submission to the kitchen.
• Communicate customer requests and special instructions clearly.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation.
• Follow up on orders to ensure customer satisfaction.

3. Food Service and Takeaway Support

• Serve meals and beverages promptly.
• Support takeaway operations including:
  • Packaging orders
  • Preparing customer collections
  • Confirming takeaway details
• Ensure takeaway orders are complete and properly prepared.
• Assist customers during collection of orders.

4. Dining Area Maintenance and Hygiene

• Maintain clean and organized service areas.
• Clean and sanitize:
  • Dining tables
  • Counters
  • Customer service areas
• Ensure proper arrangement of dining spaces.
• Follow hygiene and food safety standards.
• Support overall cleanliness of the restaurant environment.

5. Team Support and Daily Operations

• Work closely with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Support colleagues during busy service periods.
• Follow company procedures and service standards.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

• High School Certificate or equivalent.

Age Requirement

• Between 20 and 23 years old.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in:
  • Waitressing
  • Restaurant service
  • Customer care
  • Food service operations
