Job Description

• Contact customers to open Enterprise Banking accounts following Bank recruitment policies and procedures
• Participate in product campaigns and explain products to customers
• Meet and exceed sales targets for campaigns
• Grow portfolio profitability by identifying customer potential and new product opportunities
• Sell products and solutions both reactively and proactively
• Generate customer interest via face-to-face or telephone follow-ups
• Originate credit applications to the commercial credit team under SME lending guidelines
• Conduct structured customer meetings with clear objectives and outcomes
• Maintain sales performance statistics for management
• Build relationships with branch staff to drive referrals
• Complete account opening documentation and submit to Branch Manager
• Perform financial analysis for loan applications
• Communicate loan decisions to customers where necessary
• Report loan denials to Branch Manager daily
• Call customers after account opening and send welcome pack letters

• Handle customer queries and complaints on accounts, loans, and cards
• Escalate unresolved issues to Prestige Branch Manager
• Work with Operations and KYC Helpdesk for quick resolutions
• Direct customers to appropriate service channels
• Inform customers when cheque books/cards are ready
• Follow up on uncollected banking items
• Encourage loan drawdowns after approval
• Assist customers in queues during busy periods
• Restock branch marketing materials and notify manager of shortages

• Support business advisory services for Personal Banking customers when needed
• Open and close cashier tills with Branch Manager/BOM
• Authorize transactions above teller limits when required
• Act as cash custodian (cash monitoring, restocking, and reconciliation)

• Ensure accuracy of account opening and loan documentation
• Maintain compliance with KYC requirements and audit standards
• Follow Retail account opening procedures and AML regulations
• Escalate unresolved compliance issues to Branch Manager
• Conduct snap checks as assigned
• Ensure compliance with Barclays operational risk frameworks
• Support Branch Manager in daily operational duties when required

Role Specification

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Trading, or related field
• Postgraduate education or professional certifications are an added advantage

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role/environment

• Business Banking (90%) and Retail Banking (10%) understanding
