The Sales & Service Center Associate at SunCulture Uganda (Jinja) is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, driving sales conversion, and managing service center operations within a fast-paced agritech and climate technology environment. The role combines sales, customer support, after-sales service, and inventory management to ensure smooth daily operations and high customer satisfaction.
The position involves providing frontline customer service support, maintaining a professional and customer-focused attitude, and responding to inquiries through multiple channels. The associate is expected to have strong knowledge of SunCulture products to effectively handle customer questions, resolve complaints within SLA timelines, and ensure a positive customer experience.
A key responsibility is after-sales support and technical coordination, including logging customer issues through ticketing systems, tracking complaints, troubleshooting non-technical issues, and escalating unresolved technical problems to the relevant teams. The role ensures continuous follow-up on customer issues until full resolution while maintaining accurate service records and reports.
In addition, the Sales & Service Center Associate plays a critical role in inventory and stock management, ensuring spare parts availability, conducting regular stock checks, and maintaining proper records of service center assets. The role also ensures the service center is clean, organized, and compliant with operational standards.
The role also has a strong sales performance component, where the associate is responsible for achieving daily and monthly sales targets, generating leads, following up on potential customers, and converting leads into actual sales. This includes conducting product demonstrations, supporting marketing activities, and participating in customer referral programs.
The position requires close collaboration with supervisors to establish and achieve sales KPIs, customer acquisition targets, and reporting requirements, ensuring consistent growth in revenue and customer engagement.
Overall, the role supports SunCulture’s mission of delivering solar irrigation solutions, agritech innovation, and climate-smart agriculture technologies to smallholder farmers in Uganda.
