Ezee Money – Head of Sales

About the Role
Ezee Money is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead sales growth, expand agent networks, increase revenue, and drive market penetration across Uganda.
This is not a traditional sales leadership role. The successful candidate will be a builder, strategist, and hands-on leader capable of creating structures, solving complex business challenges, and scaling sales operations in a fast-growing fintech environment.
The Head of Sales will lead distributed sales teams, develop channel partnerships, optimize agent network performance, and contribute significantly to the company's growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
  • Develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and business objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and growth channels.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
Agent Network Development
  • Build, manage, and optimize agent distribution networks.
  • Drive agent recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention.
  • Develop strategies to increase agent productivity and performance.
  • Expand market coverage through agent and channel network growth.
Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Establish performance targets and accountability frameworks.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate team members.
  • Build a strong performance-driven sales culture.
Business Development & Partnerships
  • Identify strategic partnerships that support business growth.
  • Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and channel partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve product adoption and customer acquisition.
Market Expansion
  • Explore and penetrate new customer segments and geographic markets.
  • Develop innovative go-to-market strategies.
  • Drive customer acquisition and retention initiatives.
Performance Management
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Analyze revenue trends and sales data.
  • Develop corrective actions to address performance gaps.
  • Produce regular sales and business performance reports.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of sales experience.
  • At least 3 years in a senior sales leadership position.
  • Proven record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.

  • Experience managing:
