ANCHOR MACHINES – SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Job Overview
Anchor Machines is seeking a passionate, results-driven, and highly motivated Sales Account Manager to drive sales growth, develop targeted marketing strategies, manage customer relationships, and oversee the company's sales pipeline. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding market reach, generating new business opportunities, and achieving organizational revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Skills
  • Understand company objectives and conduct market research to evaluate business opportunities.
  • Identify potential business partners and develop pricing strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements with prospective clients.
  • Contact potential customers, promote company products and services, and generate new business opportunities.
  • Maintain and grow the company sales pipeline.
  • Forecast sales performance and track opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Oversee the sales of company products and services.
  • Develop sales action plans for both new and existing clients based on market demands and business objectives.
  • Develop and execute marketing and sales plans and strategies.
  • Create and update marketing and sales plans regularly.
  • Design sales strategies aimed at increasing company revenue and market penetration.
Leadership & People Skills
  • Build, coach, and mentor high-performing teams.
  • Drive business performance through effective leadership.
  • Motivate and inspire teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Support change management initiatives.
  • Influence and empower team members to deliver results.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments and functional teams.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Sales and Marketing.
  • Experience in startups or technology companies is an added advantage.
