JOB DESCRIPTION: PRODUCT & PRICING ANALYST

• Analyse financial and operational data to evaluate product performance across assets, liabilities, and transactional products.
• Prepare detailed product performance reports with actionable recommendations.
• Identify high-performing and underperforming products for optimization or redesign.

• Analyse market pricing trends, competitor data, and customer behaviour patterns.
• Develop pricing models and discounting frameworks for fees, interest rates, and digital transactions.
• Recommend pricing adjustments to improve digital uptake and profitability.
• Ensure accurate implementation of pricing strategies across customer segments (corporate, public sector, franchising, and retail).

• Collect and analyse internal and external data sources (market trends, regulatory updates, customer usage patterns).
• Develop dashboards for monitoring revenue performance and identifying income leakages.
• Conduct customer analytics to generate actionable market insights.

• Monitor transaction volumes, loan balances, and liability reports to identify revenue leakages.
• Curb income loss through continuous data validation and reporting improvements.
• Support risk identification related to pricing and product performance.

• Test and validate system changes before and after implementation.
• Ensure timely deployment of product and pricing updates in collaboration with IT teams.
• Continuously monitor data quality and reporting efficiency.

• Produce dashboards, financial reports, and pricing performance summaries.
• Provide recommendations to Product Managers and senior leadership.
• Support decision-making through data-driven insights.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, Business Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Branch Banking or Private Banking environments.
• Strong understanding of transactional, lending, liability, and digital banking products.
• Knowledge of SQL, databases, and data management systems.
• Understanding of FTP (Funds Transfer Pricing) and product behavioural trends.
• Experience in financial reporting, pricing analysis, or product analytics is an added advantage.
