JOB PURPOSE
The Director Internal Audit, Compliance and Risk Management will provide leadership in Internal Audit, Compliance and Risk Management services to advise Management and the Board on effective stewardship of the organization’s assets.
The role is responsible for enforcing internationally accepted standards across organizational systems, processes, and practices to minimize risks, strengthen controls, and improve operational efficiency in line with the URCS Audit Charter and international audit best practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide strategic leadership in Internal Audit, Compliance, and Risk Management
  • Advise Management and the Board on governance, risk, and control matters
  • Safeguard organizational assets through effective audit and compliance systems
  • Strengthen internal controls and risk management frameworks
  • Promote compliance with policies, regulations, and international standards
  • Assess operational risks and recommend mitigation measures
  • Enhance organizational efficiency and accountability
  • Ensure adherence to the URCS Audit Charter and international audit best practices
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Postgraduate Degree from a recognized institution
  • Professional qualifications in Audit, Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, or related fields are an added advantage
