JOB PURPOSE
The Director Internal Audit, Compliance and Risk Management will be responsible for providing leadership in Internal Audit, Compliance and Risk Management services in order to advise Management and the Board to contribute towards adequate stewardship over the organization’s assets while enforcing internationally accepted standards over the organization’s systems, processes and practices with a view to minimizing process risks and enhancing operational efficiency in line with the URCS Audit Charter and International Audit best practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide leadership in Internal Audit, Compliance, and Risk Management
  • Advise Management and the Board on governance and control systems
  • Ensure stewardship over organizational assets
  • Enforce internationally accepted audit and compliance standards
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate organizational risks
  • Strengthen internal control systems and operational efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with URCS Audit Charter and international best practices
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Postgraduate Degree (minimum requirement stated)
  • Strong background in audit, compliance, and risk management
  • Experience in organizational governance, internal controls, and financial systems
  • Knowledge of international audit standards and best practices
  • Leadership experience in audit or risk management functions
