URCS delivers lifesaving humanitarian services across the country and invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Director Finance.
JOB PURPOSE
The Finance Director will be responsible for the financial health of URCS. By combining strategic and operational goals, the Director will provide leadership in financial management through effective planning, budgeting, accurate financial record keeping, and contributing to initiatives that optimize revenues. The role also ensures provision of accurate and timely financial information and reports to Management and the Board.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide strategic leadership in financial management
  • Oversee financial planning and budgeting processes
  • Ensure accurate financial record keeping and reporting
  • Support revenue optimization initiatives
  • Prepare and present financial reports to Management and the Board
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
  • Strengthen financial controls and accountability systems
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s Degree (minimum requirement stated)
  • Experience in financial management, accounting, or related field
  • Strong leadership and strategic financial planning skills
  • Experience in managing budgets, financial reporting, and organizational finance systems
