BARISTA JOB OPPORTUNITY – FOUNTAIN PALACE HOTEL & SUITES
Fountain Palace Hotel & Suites is a luxury hospitality destination committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences, outstanding service, and world-class hospitality standards.
The hotel is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Barista to join its Food & Beverage team. The successful candidate will prepare premium coffee beverages, maintain beverage quality standards, and provide exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare espresso-based beverages, teas, and specialty hot and cold drinks
  • Maintain beverage quality through proper grinder calibration and extraction techniques
  • Create latte art and specialty coffee presentations
  • Recommend beverages and menu items to guests
  • Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and café supplies
  • Clean and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and café equipment
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
  • Process guest transactions accurately using the hotel POS system
  • Support restaurant, banquet, and conference operations as required
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience as a Barista in a café, hotel, or restaurant environment
  • Strong understanding of espresso preparation, milk texturing, and coffee extraction
  • Barista certification is an added advantage
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Food Handler’s Certificate preferred
  • Experience using POS systems and inventory controls

The hotel is seeking an experienced and energetic Bartender who is passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining bar operations, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wines, beers, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel standards
  • Provide beverage recommendations and food pairing suggestions to guests
  • Maintain a welcoming, professional, and engaging atmosphere
  • Verify guest identification and ensure responsible beverage service
  • Monitor and replenish bar inventory, supplies, and garnishes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas and equipment
  • Process payments accurately using the hotel POS system
  • Support hotel functions, conferences, and special events
  • Collaborate with restaurant and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a hotel, restaurant, lounge, or upscale hospitality setting
  • Mixology certification is an added advantage
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits, and beverage service
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Food Handler’s Certificate preferred
  • Experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions
