Compensation
  • UGX 500,000 monthly guaranteed retainer
  • Uncapped commissions on every deal closed

Job Overview
Basket Advisory Technologies is hiring a Sales Representative to promote and sell four integrated business platforms to enterprises across Uganda. The role involves high-level B2B sales targeting executives and decision-makers in multiple industries.
Products You Will Sell
  • BASKET PAYROLL
    Payroll, PAYE, NSSF, mobile money salary disbursement
  • TAJIRI DISTRIBUTION
    FMCG tracking, agent performance, collections
  • JIRANI MARKETPLACE
    Produce aggregation, agro-trade compliance, payouts
  • BASKET BOOKS (Free Tool)
    Invoicing, VAT, P&L, debtor tracking
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and visit potential enterprise clients across Uganda
  • Book meetings with CEOs, HR Directors, and Finance Managers
  • Conduct live product demos using a laptop
  • Sell multiple SaaS platforms in a single client visit
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
  • Close subscription deals
  • Submit weekly sales reports
  • Maintain consistent client follow-ups
Requirements
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years in field sales (FMCG, fintech, payroll, or distribution)
  • Proven experience closing B2B deals
  • Strong network with Ugandan companies preferred
Skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to sell software to non-technical users
  • Confidence in presenting to executives
  • Strong relationship-building ability
  • Pipeline and CRM management skills
Non-Negotiable Requirements
  • Own a working laptop (for demos)
  • Willing to travel across Uganda
  • Strong proof of business contacts (required at interview)
  • Ability to independently demo all platforms
  • Immediate availability
