MEDICAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE – CRITICAL CARE (KAMPALA, UGANDA)

Job Summary
We are seeking dynamic and results-driven Medical Sales Representatives to promote pharmaceutical and healthcare products across Kampala, Uganda. The role involves engaging healthcare professionals and driving product awareness, adoption, and sales growth in both public and private health facilities.

Key Responsibilities
Product Promotion & Detailing
  • Promote pharmaceutical and healthcare products to medical professionals
  • Communicate product benefits ethically and accurately
Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and clinical officers
  • Strengthen product visibility and customer loyalty
Territory Coverage & Planning
  • Conduct regular visits to hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and territory objectives
Market Development & Intelligence
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Monitor competitor activity
  • Provide market insights to support growth strategies
Training & Presentations
  • Conduct product presentations and medical education sessions
  • Increase awareness of company products
Compliance & Ethics
  • Ensure compliance with Allied Health Professionals Council guidelines
  • Follow ethical pharmaceutical marketing practices
Reporting
  • Prepare and submit timely field activity and sales reports
  • Track territory performance using CRM/digital tools
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work with internal teams to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, or related medical field
  • Valid and current license from the Allied Health Professionals Council
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales or medical promotion
  • Sales/marketing background is an added advantage
  • Strong ability to prepare reports and use CRM/digital tools
