JOB VACANCY: MARKETING AND SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR OFFICER

LOCATION
Head Office, Ntinda – Semawata Road, Kampala, Uganda
JOB OVERVIEW
The institution is seeking a creative, strategic, and motivated Marketing and Social Media Coordinator Officer to strengthen its brand visibility, increase student enrollment, and support impactful communication that inspires innovation and learning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies
  • Manage and grow social media platforms and online presence
  • Create engaging digital content (graphics, photos, videos, stories)
  • Support brand storytelling and institutional communications
  • Design and run innovative campaigns to boost engagement and enrollment
  • Monitor audience growth, engagement analytics, and campaign performance
  • Collaborate with teams to promote education and STEAM programs
  • Maintain and update website content (if required)
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–3 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or social media management
  • Strong skills in content creation, storytelling, and brand communication
  • Ability in photography, creative design, and basic video editing
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and social media platforms
PREFERRED SKILLS / ADVANTAGES
  • Certifications in Digital Marketing, Branding, or Communications
  • Experience in education, youth development, NGO, or STEAM environments
  • Website design, development, and management skills
  • Ability to run creative campaigns and audience engagement strategies
ROLE OBJECTIVE
To grow the institution’s brand visibility, attract students, and communicate innovation-driven education through powerful and engaging digital storytelling.
