The company is currently seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the position of Team Leader – Packaging based at the Namanve Plant in Kampala. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient packaging operations, production excellence, employee performance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.

Job Summary

The Team Leader – Packaging will be responsible for leading and coordinating packaging operations to achieve production targets while maintaining high standards of product quality, equipment reliability, workplace safety, and operational efficiency.
The role involves supervising packaging teams, improving production performance, reducing waste, supporting maintenance activities, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with Coca-Cola quality and food safety requirements.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, leadership experience, and a background in FMCG manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Performance and Packaging Operations
The Team Leader – Packaging will:
  • Execute daily production plans to achieve shift targets.
  • Coordinate packaging line operations.
  • Monitor production output and efficiency.
  • Ensure packaging activities are completed within operational budgets.
  • Improve production performance and reduce operational losses.
  • Monitor production KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
