Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers within the supermarket.
• Provide information about available products and services.
• Recommend suitable products based on customer needs.
• Respond professionally to customer inquiries.
• Ensure customers receive excellent service.

• Arrange and stock shelves with products.
• Rotate stock to ensure proper product display and freshness.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Check and manage expired products.
• Ensure products are properly labelled and displayed.

• Operate supermarket checkout systems.
• Process customer payments accurately.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly.
• Issue receipts and maintain proper transaction records.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the supermarket.
• Keep shelves, counters, and customer areas organised.
• Ensure a neat and welcoming shopping environment.
• Support general store maintenance activities.

• Receive and organise delivered goods.
• Assist with loading and arranging products.
• Ensure delivered items are properly checked and stored.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE / O-Level Certificate).
• Form Four holiday makers are encouraged to apply.
• Valid National Identification Card.
• LC1 Recommendation Letter.
• Age requirement: 18–23 years.
