Woods & More is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Carpenter to join its expanding production team and contribute to the creation of premium furniture products.

Job Summary

The Senior Carpenter will be responsible for producing high-quality furniture products, interpreting technical drawings, operating woodworking equipment, supervising junior carpenters, and ensuring all finished products meet company quality standards.
The successful candidate should have strong practical woodworking experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to deliver professional furniture solutions within required timelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Furniture Manufacturing and Production
  • Manufacture high-quality furniture including:
    • Kitchens
    • Wardrobes
    • Doors
    • Cabinets
    • Custom furniture pieces
  • Perform accurate cutting, assembling, finishing, and installation of furniture products.
  • Ensure all products meet customer specifications and company standards.
  • Apply professional woodworking techniques throughout production.
2. Technical Drawing Interpretation
  • Read and interpret furniture designs, measurements, and technical drawings.
  • Convert design concepts into finished furniture products.
  • Ensure accurate dimensions and proper finishing.
  • Identify possible design or production challenges and provide solutions.
3. Workshop Supervision
  • Guide and supervise junior carpenters and workshop assistants.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to team members.
  • Ensure proper use of tools, machinery, and materials.
  • Maintain discipline and professional workshop standards.
4. Quality Control and Finishing
  • Inspect furniture products at different production stages.
  • Ensure high standards of craftsmanship and finishing.

5. Equipment and Safety Management
  • Operate modern woodworking machinery safely.
