Job Purpose
The Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely handling of emergency ward medicine requisitions, supporting routine dispensing operations, and maintaining accurate stock records in the Business Central NAV system.
The role plays a critical part in ensuring real-time inventory accuracy, proper medication flow, and efficient pharmacy service delivery within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities
1. Dispensing of Medicines
  • Accurately dispense prescribed medications to patients and hospital wards.
  • Ensure correct labeling, dosage, and documentation of all medicines issued.
  • Support safe handling and storage of pharmaceutical products.
2. Emergency Order Handling
  • Process emergency ward requisitions promptly and accurately.
  • Prioritize urgent medication requests to support critical patient care.
  • Ensure minimal delays in emergency medicine supply.
3. NAV System Posting (Inventory Management)
  • Post daily issue vouchers in the Business Central NAV system.
  • Ensure digital stock records reflect actual physical stock movements.
  • Maintain data accuracy and system integrity at all times.
4. Voucher Archiving & Documentation
  • Properly file and archive all pharmacy issue vouchers and records.
  • Maintain organized documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
5. Routine Issuing Support
  • Assist in daily pharmacy and medical stores operations.
  • Support stock issuing, replenishment, and inventory checks.
6. End-of-Day Reporting
  • Prepare and submit end-of-day stock and dispensing reports.
  • Ensure reconciliation of physical stock with system records.
7. Additional Duties
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Pharmacy Stores or Pharmacist – Stores.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma in Pharmacy, Supply Chain Management, Stores Management, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy or medical stores environment.
  • Experience handling emergency medical supply operations is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with Business Central NAV or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced clinical environment.
