About the Role

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company standards.
• Operate coffee machines and barista equipment effectively.
• Ensure consistency in beverage taste, presentation, and quality.
• Prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.

• Welcome customers and provide professional service.
• Take customer orders and respond to inquiries politely.
• Recommend beverages and provide guidance based on customer preferences.
• Handle customer requests and feedback professionally.
• Create a friendly and welcoming environment for guests.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee preparation area.
• Clean and maintain barista equipment and tools.
• Ensure availability of coffee supplies, ingredients, and other materials.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages when necessary.

• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain clean working surfaces and equipment.
• Ensure beverages are prepared in a safe and hygienic manner.
• Adhere to company quality standards and procedures.

• Assist with smooth restaurant and café operations.
• Support team members during busy service periods.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of O Level education.
• Training or practical skills in barista work.
• Previous experience working in a café, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment.
• Must be smart, presentable, and willing to work.
• Candidates should be staying near Naguru or nearby areas.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Barista, Café Attendant, Waitress, or similar hospitality role.
• Experience preparing coffee, tea, and other beverages.
• Experience handling customers in a professional environment.
• Knowledge of hygiene and food handling practices.
