The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the company's external environment through government engagement, policy advocacy, stakeholder management, reputation building, and regulatory risk management.

Job Summary

The Country Lead Public Affairs will lead the development and execution of CCBA Uganda's public affairs strategy by managing relationships with government institutions, regulators, industry associations, community stakeholders, and other influential partners.
The role is responsible for protecting and strengthening the company's operating environment by monitoring policy developments, influencing regulatory discussions, managing external risks, and supporting sustainable business growth.
The successful candidate will provide strategic advice to leadership teams on political, regulatory, and stakeholder issues affecting business operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Public Affairs Strategy Development
The Country Lead Public Affairs will:
  • Develop and implement the country's public affairs strategy.
  • Align public affairs initiatives with business objectives.
