The hospital has supported over 100,000 patients with advanced rehabilitation and disability care services across Uganda and the region.

JOB TITLE: CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS AND CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY
The Corporate Communications and Customer Experience Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and improving patient and client experience across all hospital touchpoints. The role ensures a strong customer-centric culture across CoRSU Hospital while enhancing patient satisfaction, service quality, and stakeholder engagement. The position also leads all corporate communications, public relations, branding, media relations, and digital communication strategies for the hospital.
CLIENT AND CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
The role involves developing a deep understanding of patient and client needs to improve service delivery, patient satisfaction, and retention. The Manager is responsible for designing and implementing customer experience strategies within a hospital and healthcare environment, creating customer value metrics, conducting satisfaction surveys, and driving continuous improvement in patient care services. The role promotes a strong customer-centric healthcare culture across all departments including orthopedic care, rehabilitation services, and disability support programs.
COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS
The role includes developing and executing hospital communication strategies aligned with CoRSU’s institutional goals. Responsibilities include managing the hospital website, ensuring continuous content updates, and overseeing digital communications across social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other media channels. The Manager will lead media relations, respond to media inquiries, and manage hospital public image and reputation.
The role also includes writing and distributing press releases, hospital reports, research findings, speeches, newsletters, success stories, and stakeholder communications. The Manager will collect and analyze media data, prepare official responses, and ensure accurate public representation of CoRSU Hospital’s work, programs, and achievements in orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery, and rehabilitation medicine.
MARKETING AND BRAND MANAGEMENT
The position involves developing and managing hospital branding strategies, marketing campaigns, and promotional materials. The Manager ensures consistent brand identity across all hospital communications, patient engagement platforms, outreach programs, and stakeholder interactions. The role also includes coordinating brand perception surveys, reputation assessments, and public image analysis to strengthen CoRSU Hospital’s positioning as a leading healthcare provider in Uganda and East Africa.
TEAM LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT
The Manager will supervise the front desk customer care team and other assigned staff, ensuring efficient patient reception, communication, and service delivery. The role includes developing KPIs, staff performance management systems, and structured work plans for continuous productivity improvement.
The position also involves coaching, mentoring, and training staff in customer service, healthcare communication, patient handling, and service excellence. The Manager will conduct performance appraisals, identify training needs, manage leave schedules, and ensure operational efficiency within the communications and customer experience department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The role includes overseeing hospital-wide customer experience transformation, strengthening patient satisfaction systems, managing digital communication channels, supporting internal and external communications, ensuring brand consistency, improving public relations strategies, and enhancing overall healthcare service delivery experience at CoRSU Hospital.
